I don't know what to say. I don't know how to explain what happened or how I am feeling. A fun, loving, colorful, flamboyant, brilliant friend took his life on Tuesday, 7 January 2009. I'm not going to explain very much, just that: He went missing yesterday morning and we have been looking for him ever since. He had hung himself and was found later today, 8 January 2009.



He taught me many things: How to… walk in high heels properly, how to properly apply every-day makeup, and how to love life even when nothing went right. We will always have fun times in the resource office, drag shows, queer proms, singing RENT, and The Princess Diaries. He was amazing and it has been an honor to be his ally.




He was an amazing person. He was brilliant at making everyone smile. He was able to make a completely horrible day a little brighter. It was easier going through my day knowing that he would be there to make everyone smile. He brightened my life, and now the world is a little darker without its colorful drag queen.




I don't know or understand why he would leave like this, but I am very sorry he had to do this. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.


We love you, Josh Vukovinsky. You will always have a place in our hearts and memories.
